Very disappointing that the website says it is open then sign outside says its open, travelled from Ivybridge for my daughters birthday, she was very upset as she loves bears, website needs to be correct and not have a sign outside saying we are open
worst customer service ever. The staff are not helpful disgusting will not be visiting again
Always enjoy my visit. After a number of visits I still enjoy looking through the musium. Lovely friendly staff. Would be nice to have pocket money bears for the little ones to collect. Children love collecting as much as adults. But the prices are to high for the average child. Thank you once again for a lovely visit.
Charlie Bears Bearhouse is located at the very far end of a big industrial estate. When you get there you enter through a small modern shop selling a selection of 'bears' greeted by a lovely assistant/receptionist.She left us to look at the bears on offer and then asked us if we would like to see the 'Collection'.Pointing to a large, rustic old door at the back of the shop we walked into an amazing museum of Charlie Bears.This place is brilliant.We thought that one room was it until we were shown a lift hidden in the far corner. Once you exit the lift,the exhibit really takes off...I won't spoil it for you... Just go and visit.You may even get to meet Charlie herself like we did.And, it's free!
Until yesterday I didnt even know this was here. Im so happy that we stopped by today to have a look. Its much larger than it seems and everything is displayed with painstaking detail. Theres no fee to go in, and refreshments are available in a cute little picnic area. All disabled access friendly.100% recommend.
